STUART

Named for Stuart Evans, HERD Rescue’s president and her sponsor, this stunning filly came to HERD in October 2016 nursing her mother Velvet, a pretty paint mare. Stuart was a totally untouchable five-month old beauty. A red line back dun with lovely features, she is in now in-your-pocket and adores attention.  It is amazing the transformation in only year. She loads into the trailer with ease, enjoys her round-pen training sessions and has learned to navigate the barrels to perform figure eights on the long line and to jump the barrels when placed on their sides.  Stuart is 13.3 hands currently and has a lovely trot and easy canter. We believe she will be very comfortable under saddle and game for any discipline based on her bravery and confidence in her herd group.  Should mature to 15 hands like her mother.
