Cherokee

Cherokee is a 12 yr old paint gelding standing 14.3 hands. He is one comfortable ride with an amazing canter. Perfect for trail riding and hunters' paces this fall. He crosses creeks, rides out alone like a champion, birds flying up or deer darting from bushes, no problem on him.  We have rested Cherokee a full year, vet's orders as we saved him with an injured hind tendon. He is sound now and looking for a forever home.  He loves being turned out with another horse. Good for his bath and farrier trims as we keep him barefoot.  We do not recommend him for a jumping career because of his old injury but cantering up the hills and trotting down the trails is all good.  Cherokee can be adopted for $1,500
